Miranda qualified in Wales in 1995, and spent a year at the Tauranga Hospital in 1996/1997.
Miranda has interests in women's health, contraception and family health including children and the complexities of ageing health.
Miranda is married with 2 teenage children.
She enjoys travel, keeping fit and plays clarinet with the BOP Symphonia.
